| Abstract | PDAM Tirta Bening Pati is a water supply company that was founded in 1992. Currently, the recording of letter data at PDAM Tirta Bening Pati is still manual. The problem that occurs is that the input of incoming and outgoing mail data is written in a book. To see it one has to look at the book and look for it on each line. This method is considered too long and there is a big possibility of human error. Here the author provides a solution, namely how to search for letter data that has been entered into the system by adding a new letter search feature. With the improvement of the system so that the secretarial section works more efficiently and quickly without having to search for data one by one. The classification of a letter search in this study is completed using the SVM (Support Vector Machine) method. The SVM or Support Vector Machine method is one of the best methods that can be used in pattern classification problems. And with the final result of the refinement of this system is the secretarial department can search for letters faster, more precisely, and data more accurately. |
