| Abstract | SMK Garuda Nusantara Karangawen is one of the educational institutions located in Demak Regency and is one of the Vocational High Schools (SMK) that received an "A" accreditation certificate. Admission of New Students at SMK Garuda Nusantara, Demak Regency, currently still takes 2 days to recap the registration form from recap in Microsoft Excel to make a daily report, by recording the registration form that has been filled out by students in the New Student Admissions book, then the book is recapitulated to the Microsoft Excel application, then a daily report is made on how many students register and the number of students who re-register in the form of a print out, then the report is signed by the principal and then sent to the Foundation. The print outs can be torn, lost and also require greater financing for office stationery needs. In this study the author will create a Web-Based New Student Admission System. This system is built using the PHP and MySQL programming languages as storage, and uses the Prototype system development method. It is hoped that this system can support the process of Admission of New Students at SMK Garuda Nusantara Karangawen, Demak Regency. |
