Abstract

History learning is often perceived as boring by students, making innovative methods necessary to enhance their interest and understanding. This research aims to develop an educational game based on Nusantara mythology as an effort to increase students' interest in learning history. The game is created using Rpg maker software, which enables the integration of various mythologies from regions across Indonesia. Thus, students not only learn about history but also expand their cultural knowledge. This study applies the Game development life cycle (GDLC) method, encompassing the stages of concept, pre-production, production, testing, and post-production. Testing was conducted in Alpha testing. The Alpha test results showed a success rate of 100%. This educational game has the potential to be an effective tool for increasing interest in history learning, offering a more engaging and interactive approach compared to conventional methods.
