Design and implementation of a public complaint system using the CodeIgniter framework at the Pilangsari Village Hall, Sayung District, Demak Regency

Public complaints are complaints or reports from the public regarding indications of irregularities, corruption, collusion and nepotism carried out by regional or village government officials in the administration of government. Based on the Pilangsari Village Hall office, there are several problems in terms of complaints, namely the absence of a forum for complaints, the community still finds it difficult to interact with the Village government, there is no digitalization in complaints, many aspirations from the community are queued and do not know when the answer will be, the recapitulation of complaint data for the Village government is still manual filing. On that basis, the author made a Final Project report entitled «Design and Implementation of a Public Complaint System Using the Codeigniter Framework at the Pilangsari Village Hall, Sayung District, Demak Regency» The design and development of this system is the best solution to overcome the problems that occur at the Pilangsari Village Hall. The author uses the Prototype Method used is Visual Studio Code and for the programming language using PHP and using the MySQL database. This complaint application provides information from several general processes that have been tested with various tests, such as black box testing getting a percentage of 100%. Then the system durability test also got a geometric grade C and performance results that produced 67% in testing performance and the resulting structure was 89%. The user satisfaction survey can be concluded that respondents were satisfied with the system that the author created with an average rating of 77% Satisfied. By creating the system, it will be able to help the admin in running the public complaint process in the future.
