Abstract

The problem that often occurs during this time is the delay in the presence of fire fighting units at the location of the fire because fires can occur due to lack of vigilance or caution in using items such as LPG gas and electrical short circuit, which often occurs in a densely populated environment, namely the installation of electricity and gas in the house. Sometimes underestimated this becomes an issue that needs to be addressed. This tool is functioned to detect LPG gas in residents' homes where this tool can detect cooking activities that use LPG gas, gas levels will increase which will reach 500ppm to 700ppm, which is feared if gas levels are too high in fear of fire. To meet these safety standards, a device for detecting fires in residents' homes is provided. In this study the authors used the prototype method to get a system that is reliable and as expected. By using a gas sensor, namely mq2, a fire sensor, namely IR Flame, esp8266 as a sensor reader, Buzzer as a warning alarm, to display data using a 16x2 Liquid Crystal Display, fuzzy logic method as a calculation and telegram as a notification with this tool, gas levels in the room can be detected up to 300ppm so that the room can work as it should properly.
