In cultivating eggplant, maintaining soil moisture and appropriate temperature is the key to increasing crop yields. Therefore, this research focuses on designing and developing an automatic irrigation system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) which is able to monitor and regulate the water needs of eggplant plants in real-time. The suitable temperature for eggplant plants is 25 - 30℃, soil humidity lowerthan 40% can cause stress to the plant, while humidity that is too high can cause root rot, therefore regulating temperature and humidity are the main parameters in determining water needs. This research uses soil moisture, temperature and air humidity sensors connected to the Internet of Things (IoT) network and the Telegram communication platform. Data on environmental conditions is collected and analyzed to regulate the watering system, where the pump is automatically activated when soil humidity is below 40% and turned off if it is above 60%. The method used includes system testing for 3 days, with data collection and real-time notifications via Telegram to facilitate remote monitoring and control. System test results show effectiveness in minimizing excessive water use and increasing responsiveness to plant environmental conditions
